Kara & Tom
Mona Farm
Kara and Tom’s Mona Farm wedding was everything we love about photographing here – modern and elegant, but never stiff. Their vision was all about neutral tones and lush, sculptural florals, with orchids and magnolia leaves framing the day.
One of the most unforgettable guests was Weston, their French Bulldog, who wore a custom vest during Tom’s backyard proposal and later stole hearts at the wedding itself. He trotted around Mona Farm’s gardens like they were his own private late-autumn escape — sniffs, pants, and belly rubs for anyone who’d oblige.
The day had its drama – torrential rain the night before, clearing just in time for Kara to walk down the aisle as a single beam of sunlight poured down like honey across the lake, and for a moment everything stood still. When the rain gently returned, nobody minded — they leaned into it, laughing, hugging, celebrating through it all. Against Mona Farm’s art-filled grounds and their impeccable styling, it was a wedding that was stylish and completely full of life.
